As we have already told you in some previous post, Iberian ham is perfect to eat accompanied by a good wine. But, apart from eating it cut into thin slices, there are several recipes with ham that you can make with this ingredient to fill your meals with flavor.

Then add 2 glasses of water and add the peas and the bay leaves. When the water starts to boil, add salt and black pepper to taste and wait 10 minutes. Finally, add the eggs and cover the pot until the egg yolk is well made.

This recipe is also quite simple, and it is also very practical for these days when you can’t spend too much time waiting until the food is ready. For this recipe you need:

  • Potatoes
  • Green peas
  • Egg
  • Fried tomato
  • Iberian Ham
  • Grated cheese

First, you must peel and cut the potatoes into squares and cook them. You can fry them or bake them; it depends on the taste of each person. In a baking dish, add some fried tomato and place the fries on top along with the peas. The amounts of peas will depend on each person. Add the Iberian ham and grated cheese on top. Finally, add one egg per person. Put the container into the oven, previously preheated to 180º and leave it until the cheese is au gratin and the egg is well made.

This recipe may be somewhat strange, but we assure you that once you try it you will not be able to stop eating it. In addition, it is ideal as a snack for family meals or meetings with friends. You will only need:

  • Iberian Ham
  • Cheese
  • Grapes
  • Melon

Cut the melon in bites and wrap it in the Iberian ham. Take a brochette and start adding the ingredients alternating each of them. In other words, add a piece of melon wrapped in ham, a grape, cheese, and so on.

This recipe is very typical for breakfast in Spain and for Mediterranean diet, although it is also true that you can also make it to accompany a meal. It is very simple, and you will not need much time to do it. The ingredients are:

  • Iberian Ham

Cut the bread into slices and place them with a toaster. Once hot, cut the natural tomato in half and place it over the bread, rubbing so that all the flavor remains. Add some olive oil and some slices of Iberian ham.

Salmorejo is a famous creamy cold tomato soup. This recipe is perfect to refresh our summer days, although it can also be enjoyed in winter. To make the salmorejo recipe with ham and egg bites you will need:

  • 1 kg of tomato
  • 200 gr of bread
  • 150 ml of olive oil
  • Garlic to taste
  • Salt
  • Hard-boiled egg
  • Iberian Ham

Add in a bowl the diced tomato, crushed bread, garlic and oil and beat them all very well until we see that there are no clumps. To make sure of this, you can also strain it once you have everything crushed. Add a little of salmorejo’s recipe in bowls and add chopped hard-boiled egg and Iberian ham bites.
